Purificadora works with turbines from a wide range of manufacturers, from which we highlight: ABB, Alstom, General Electric, Rolls Royce, Siemens, among others.

Purificadora carried out the drying and purification of the electric transformers of Setúbal Thermoelectric Power Plant.

Altogether there are 4 transformers of 315 MVA 18,000/440,000 V with 96,000 kg of oil, representing the largest transformers in Portugal, each one weighing 450,000 kg.

After treatment, analyses and tests were carried out by the EDP laboratory (Labelec).

The results highlighted the extraordinary benefits and improvements achieved by the oil following its treatment with our equipment.

The Carriço Cogeneration Power Plant is equipped with a low emission Rolls Royce RB211 gas turbine to produce electricity and heat.

Purificadora carried out the recycling of 6,000 litres of oil from the turbine's hydraulic lubrication unit, one of the most critical elements of the whole system. Recycled oil is a synthetic turbine oil and is the most commonly used aviation oil in the world.

The Mortágua Biomass Power Plant is the biggest of its kind in Portugal. It is equipped with an Ansaldo steam turbine for power generation.

The oil that Purificadora recycled had been in the equipment for more than 7 years, however after our intervention it showed excellent levels of cleanliness, as per ISO 4406 standard the values achieved were: 13/9/4.
